2025 Norfolk Person of the Year

The NCL is excited to announce that we are opening up nominations for the 2025 Person of the Year.

Do you know someone who makes Norfolk a better place? Someone who makes a significant, positive impact on our community?

The Norfolk Community League is now accepting nominations. All nominations are due by September 5, 2025 at 11:59pm. Nominees must be at least 21 years of age, and a resident of Norfolk. The nominee also cannot be a previous winner or an NCL Board member.

The three finalists will be selected by NCL's Board and posted by September 10, 2025.The community will then be able to vote for the 2025 person of the year out of the three finalists. The winner will be honored at the Norfolk Community League's Oktoberfest on October 4, 2025 at the Proctor Inn. Two event tickets will be awarded to the winner.

Tickets to Oktoberfest will be on sale soon, so be ready to snag yours before they’re gone!
